Zarinmedia was called upon by Quatrefoil a studio specializing in museum displays to program an interactive Flash based kiosk system to allow kids to place building essentials on virtual buildings.
The framework allows young users to cycle through various requirement animations, place building essentials on a 3D visualization of the 3 styles of buildings, and depending on completing the requirements will get a reward animation at the completion.
The framework is designed to run in an offline kiosk environment.

In this project Zarinmedia programmed a very versatile, fully dynamic flash banner, that takes its dimensions, image, animation style, animation speed, and tag links dynamically from an xml file supplied by the client’s Ad server.
This system allowed the client to deploy one lightweight .swf file for its many banner iterations.

This client approached my studio with an existing Flash based training CDROM that they had deployed the previous year.
The mandate for the project was to create a more visually compelling, branded, flash based e-learning vehicle that would draw most of its content dynamically (coordinated by xml files) from .swf content files produced by their screencapture program.

This project was a bit of a ‘rescue mission’ of a Flash production that had already started, but had derailed.
Through a redesign, and extreme use of readymade Flash elements (such as the intro, navbar, and other components), I was able to bring the project back on track, within initial budget, and deliver a final piece that met the end client’s expectations.

Project Description:
The client needed a themed game for the launch of a museum exhibit about treasure. One of the themes in the exhibit was the phenomenon of Oak Island, the so called Treasure Island that has had numerous digs over the years in search of pirate treasure.
Due to limited budget, we suggested to use Zarinmedia’s adventure game engine, essentially focusing the resources on developing the content and illustration.
In this project Zarinmedia collaborated with an associate illustrator for some game illustration. However all design, game-play, and some illustration was produced in-house.

Based on our Flash adventure game engine, Zarinmedia produced this multi organization Xmas greeting card for 13 of Toronto’s most prominent new-media and business associations.
The campaign goal was for all participating associations and sponsors to benefit from the cross traffic generated, while bringing focus and attention to Canada’s leading non-profit charity donation ecommerce engine (CanadaHelps.org)
We estimate in excess of 10,000 emails were sent out during the holiday season, greeting various association members with holiday wishes leading up to Xmas. This campaign resulted in 3300+ visitors, out of which 840 players completed the game (in 112 hours!) and signed guestbook entries.
Please note this game engine is available to be licensed for your company’s online promotion, please contact us for more details.

It is through regular and systematic research and development that Zarinmedia positions itself uniquely in the newmedia industry. This old experimental effort was titled: “Zarinmedia: Fractal Consciousness”. In this experiment, we challenge the conventional paradigm of the fourth dimension being time, with the notion that group consciousness can be perceived as an interface to the fourth dimension.
